Take the drive up Whiteface mountain for spectacular views of the Adirondack high peaks and lakes. On a clear day, the views stretch as far as Vermont and Canada.
After parking, there is an elevator to the summit at 4,867 ft. You can either hike to the summit, or take the elevator that’s carved in the mountain. The hiking path has a rail, the boulders can have slippery spots so be careful.
There is a toll entrance fee, $25 for driver, + $20 per passenger. Kids under 6 are free.

Melissa & Anastasia met the 1980 Olympic hockey team captain and champion, Mike Eruzione!
This is where Matt has crossed the finish line of several Lake Placid half marathons!

Feel the mist and breath in the fresh mountain air on this short walk through the bridges and waterfalls! This granite walled gorge has 4 spectacular waterfalls that are accessible by sturdy steel bridges, walkways, and groomed trails.
Walk the 2.7-mile loop trail around Mirror Lake.
Rent a kayak from Easter Mountain Sports for the most peaceful kayaking. It’s a no motor lake!
Lake Placid is a larger lake where you can rent a boat and fish for trout, bass, and perch.
Named the “most walkable street in the country”, find shops, restaurants, bars, coffee, and more! All in walking distance down this strip along the lake. Our wedding events will be happening on this street.

Big Slide Brewery - We love this spot, they have great food too. Close to the Ski jump.

Lake Placid Pub & Brewery - Food & local beer but trash.
There are several golf courses in the area!
